Video Marketing Can Be EXPLOSIVE For Your Bottom Line

Video marketing has to be one of the most prolific traffic generation methods right now, the rise in power of YouTube has made video a fast moving trend that serves to ramp up your marketing efforts at a time when competition is very high. Competition is a good thing in any market, so to use this to stay ahead of the game is an extra credit for you and can be really powerful when done correctly.

Above all else, my two defining reasons for the rise in power of video marketing and why you should be using it are:

Brand recognition and credibility building

The internet marketing area of business has become extremely overcrowded, not with competition because as I said this is a good thing, but it has become overcrowded with scam artists and con merchants and this had led to a rise in trust issues with sales based contact online. What helps you when you look to video is the connection you can make with your customers and potential clients.


Gaining the trust of your prospective clients is not difficult if you are honest and straight forward, doing this through video makes a very personal connection and shows that you are prepared to be open and honest about your business, but not only your business, but your personal self too.

Increased market reach and penetration

Increasing your market reach is something that we as marketers desire greatly, but we don’t want to just reach more people, we want to reach more people in our target market, those people that are going to be buying from us in the future, video has the power in abundance. Not only are videos enjoyed widely by the masses, but they are great search engine friendly marketing tools to have in your armoury.

If you can currently reach a certain amount of your target market with your marketing methods, then I can be fairly certain that with the right video marketing action you can expand that and maybe even double the power of what you are already doing.

Video is a power house in the marketing arena right now, don’t let your business miss out on such a powerful medium. take advantage of a growing trend that is only set to get bigger and bigger in the coming years.

    You’re absolutely right about video marketing Jay.

    Also what people don’t realize is how powerful the use of video can be when they use it on their own sites.

    There’s two forms of video marketing that I’ve identified and segmented.

    The first is “on site” video marketing:
    This is where you use video directly on websites. You can use an intro video for a product or service. You can promote an affiliate product with a review video. You can use video on your OTO pages to increase your conversions substantially. You can use screen cam videos showing somebody had to do something. You can use video as link bait.

    The second is “off-site” video marketing:
    this is where you use video on other websites externally from the sites that you own. You could use video for traffic generation, lead generation, post videos on Web 2.0 sites. Etc.

    You’re sooo right Frank… Video marketing does have two use as you outlined here…

    It is great for on site greetings and explanations, outlines, examples etc.. just like on your thankyou page for signing up to your list… People respond so well to visual identification…

    And as an external tool for marketing.. thanks for droppin by dude…
