Product Review: Michael Rasmussen’s Get More Buyers, Phat Or Phail?…
If you have been around the industry for even a short length of time you will have undoubtedly heard of Michael Rasmussen and his new product Get More Buyers. My review to follow is not a paid review, I only review products off of my own back and I do not do reviews that are one sided or just for profit, if you purchase from my links I will profit but I will not review a product just so that you will buy it..
I am avoiding all CB products right now but I felt that this product created enough of a stir to get my attention..
So, what exactly stood out about get more buyers and Michael Rasmussen that got my attention?.
It’s simple really, right in the sales page Michael talks about something that I have known for a while and that is list building of customers, the money is only in the list when you are looking at a list of previously paying customers. A list of 10,000 customers will often out perform a list of 100,000 people who have opted in for a freebie.
You see, a list of paying customers are preconditioned and prepared to buy, they have shown themselves to be in a position to invest in what you have to offer, it is no secret that selling to existing customers is easier than finding new ones, that is marketing school 101.
So how can Michael Rasmussen’s Get More Buyers help YOU with your list building and making money from list building?..
The problem I have with doing reviews is wanting to tell you exactly how and why a product will help you, if it will of course. But what I have to try to do is sum up the good or bad points into something that will let you see into the product without me giving it away, that wouldn’t be fair on the product owner.
The cool thing about Michael’s product is the proof from guy’s like Mike Filsaime, if the tactics inside of Get More Buyers can boost major sales enough to have Mike Filsaime talking about it then it must be getting close to some secrets, right?… for sure.
I have to say that I am VERY impressed with what is contained inside this product.. really impressed. I would say it is on a level with things like The Conduit Method I detailed in a previous post, not in terms of what it teaches you, it is a completely different strategy and looks and a whole different area of business, but the scale on which it can help you make money is just the same, colossal.
Here are a few of the things in this product that really struck a chord with me:
These points above are just the tip of what is covered in Get More Buyers, and are the first ones that popped into my head as I started thinking about this review.
The real benefit of this product is having Michael Rasmussen on your computer screen, and almost being able to get inside his mind for your very own list building strategies..
A video course like this is much more market centric than your usual .pdf of re-hashed information (although there is a powerful 140+ pages of .pdf magic to go with it). Michael shows you definitive action steps for each of the ten strategies involved, not only does he say go do this and that”.. but he shows you how to do this and that in each strategy.
Is there anything I dislike about this course?
Of course there is, no product is perfect and I am not one to sit here and blow smoke about a product. But what I will say is the only problems I personally had was with the delivery, not of the videos but in the videos..
Michael often makes it almost too important to do a certain strategy and whilst some people will see his direct tone and approach as a bonus, I saw it as almost going back to school.. which is great for new and middle level marketers.. but it wasn’t perfect for me.
A few of the strategies were tried and tested, and I have been using them for years, but more of them were completely new even to me.. and learning from Mr Rasmussen was a pleasure to be honest when it came to these points, very clear and concise, detailed and the video’s were segmented very well…
A few other points that stood out for me and can really boost YOUR business were:
>> Using the WSO forum and sales to quickly grab a hot list of buyers
>> JV alignment, creation and how to make the right moves
>> Thankyou page marketing and how it can explode your bottom line (it really can)
>> One time offers and upsells
Like I said, there were around ten different strategies covered, but within these ten strategies were a whole bunch of tricks, tweaks and tips to grab yourself a list of buying customers.. the money IS in the list when it is done like this.
Is Michael Rasmussen’s Get More Buyers For YOU?
If you are just getting started as an internet marketer or have been plundering away into a list of freebie seekers who aren’t very profitable for you?.. then YES.. grab it here
If you don’t want to build a list?.. Then NO this isn’t for you
If you want to focus your business on list building the proper way.. then YES.. grab it here
You can see my affiliate links here.. I’m not hiding anything, but you can be safe in the knowledge that my review is honest, up front and in real life experience..

7 L’il Niche Marketing Tips To Boost Your Enthusiasm
Niche marketing is all about focus, not only focusing yourself, but focusing your marketing on a targeted group of people that are responsive to your marketing and who have a direct interest in what you have to offer or say. Niche marketing is almost like marketing to the fanatical members of society in their quest for an answer to a solution or problem. Here are my top ten niche marketing tips for you to put into your business to build a solid foundation and increase your profits:
1. Be sharp -
Staying ahead of the competition is a must for niche marketing, you won’t usually have much competition so this is very easy to do if you stay sharp and watch current trends in your niche. I have lost count of the opportunities that have come my way as a result of being actively involved in a niche.
2. Survey your niche -
Staying connected to the people in your niche is vitally important for you so That you know how, when and where you can help them get what they want. You get pain when you help a niche so a survey is perfect for this.
3. Build a list -
Probably an obvious one but is definitely one of my favorite tips, building a list in any niche can usually turn profitable for you in the long run, don’t be afraid to put an opt-in form on your site to collect name and email addresses of your potential customers, a short newsletter each week is a great way to build trust and keep communication open with your niche.
4. Get and stay educated -
Knowing facts and figures about your niche is a good starting point to move forward with, it is to your benefit if you educate yourself like this and if a niche is making you money then be sure to stay up to date with current information, trends and changes.
5. Forum marketing -
You will usually find a niche forum in most markets, it is up to you to register and get involved so that you are in the public eye. Many niche forums are global and will allow you a much bigger reach for your product or service.
6. Write articles -
Writing articles in a niche builds credibility for you, because not only are you pictured by the niche as trying to sell something, but you are sharing your knowledge and information with them openly and in public. This will serve to cement your position as an authority figure on the topic and will attract interest in what you have.
7. Paid Traffic For Testing -
Unless you have a system for quick traffic in place then you may find that new strategies require paid traffic like pay per click to test things and see how they work, you may have a system for quick test traffic but if you don’t then paid traffic is the best way to get some stats to work with.

How To Use Press Releases To Drive Traffic & Get Backlinks
This article is guest posted by Dana Willhoit of Niche NewsFlash….Dana Willhoit was a reporter at daily and weekly newspapers for 17 years. She now works from home, writing press releases and ghostwriting for clients.
You don’t need to have groundbreaking, earth-shattering front page news to share, in order to write a successful press release. You just need to find an angle, have to write it in a proper format, and submit it. Here are some things that you can use as an angle:
- Launching a new product
- Launching a new website
- Upgrading a product
- Offering a holiday special
- Forming a partnership with someone
- Doing something for charity - always a good angle
- Featuring a post-holiday sale
- Tying your product or service in with current news
On that last example - for instance, if you have a work from home product, talk about the economy and say something about layoffs and job uncertainty, and how you are “now offering” a new work from home system that people can use to make extra money while they have a job, or to replace a full-time income. You never want to lie, but you want to make it sound current.
It is important to make sure that the press release does not sound like an advertisement. Again, read through some press releases on press release sites to see how people package their stories.
Other tips:
Write in the third person, not the first person.
Include a quote, even if it’s from yourself - “This system can be used by anyone from stay at home moms to people with full time jobs looking to supplement their income,” Jim Smith, owner of JS Enterpises, said.
Do keyword research beforehand and include a few targeted keyword phrases in each press release.
If you really don’t think you can write a good press release, you can hire a press release writer. On the Warrior Forum you’re likely to find press release services available for $77-$100 a press release.

Reporter Vs Expert, Why Most Bloggers Are Stuck Reporting
There are basically two types of bloggers in the world - reporters and experts - and some people perform both roles (usually the experts, it’s hard for reporters to become experts, but it’s easy for experts to report).
If you have ever taken an Internet marketing course or attended a seminar specifically for beginners, you have probably heard about the two different methodologies. Whenever the business model is based on content, and if you blog for money then the model is based on content, people are taught to either start as reporters, or if possible step up as experts.
I’ll be frank, you want to be the expert.
Reporters leverage the content of the experts and in most cases people start off as reporters because they haven’t established expertise. Experts enjoy the perks of preeminence, higher conversion rates because of perceived value, it’s easier to get publicity, people are more likely to seek you out rather than you having to seek others out, joint ventures come easier, etc… experts in most cases simply make more money and attract more attention.
Most Bloggers Are Reporters
The thing with expertise is that it requires something - experience. No person becomes an expert without doing things and learning. Bloggers usually start out without expertise and as a result begin their blogging journey by talking about everything going on in their niche (reporting) and by interviewing and talking about other experts (reporting again).
There’s nothing wrong with reporting of course and for many people it’s a necessity at first until you build up some expertise. Unfortunately the ratios are pretty skewed when it comes to reporters and experts - there are a lot more reporters than there are experts, hence reporters tend to struggle to gain attention and when they do, they often just enhance the reputation of the expert they are reporting on.
Don’t Replicate Your Teacher
If you have ever spent some time browsing products in the learn Internet marketing niche you will notice a pattern. Many people first study Internet marketing from a “guru” (for lack of a better term). The guru teaches how he or she is able to make money online, and very often the view that the student gleams is that in order to make money online you have to teach others how to make money online.
The end result of this process is a huge army of amateurs attempting to replicate what their teacher does in the same industry - the Internet marketing industry - not realizing that without expert status based on a proven record and all the perks that come with it, it’s next to impossible to succeed.
Even people who enjoy marginal success, say for example growing an email list of 1,000 people, then go out and launch a product about how to grow an email list of 1,000 people. Now I have no problems with that, I think it’s fine to teach beginners and leverage whatever achievements you have, the problem is that people gravitate to the same niche - Internet marketing - and rarely have any key points of differentiation.
How many products out there do you know of that all claim to teach the same things - email marketing, SEO, pay per click, affiliate marketing, and all the sub-niches that fall under the category of Internet marketing. It’s a saturated market, yet when you see your teachers and other gurus making money teaching others how to make money (and let’s face it - making money as a subject is one of the most compelling) - your natural inclination is to follow in their footsteps.
If the key is to become an expert and you haven’t spent the last 5-10 years making money online, I suggest you look for another niche to establish expertise in.
Report on Your Process, Not Others
The secret to progress from reporter to expert is not to focus on other experts and instead report on your own journey. When you are learning how to do something and implementing things day by day, or studying other people’s work, you need to take your process and what you do as a result of what you learn, and use it as content for your blog.
It’s okay to talk about experts when you learn something from them, but always relate it to what you are doing. If you learn a technique from an expert it’s fine to state you learned it from them (and affiliate link to their product too!) but you should then take that technique, apply it to what you are doing and then report back YOUR results, not there’s. Frame things using your opinion - your stories - and don’t regurgitate what the expert said. The key is differentiation and personality, not replication.
Expertise comes from doing things most people don’t do and then talking about it. If you do this often enough you wake up one day as an expert, possibly without even realizing how it happened, simply because you were so good at reporting what you did.
You Are Already An Expert
Most people fail to become experts (or perceived as experts) because they don’t leverage what they already know. Every person who lives a life learns things as they go, takes action every day and knows something about something. The reason why they never become an expert is because they choose not to (which is fine for some, not everyone wants to be an expert), but if your goal is to blog your way to expertise and leave the world of reporting behind you have to start teaching and doing so by leveraging real experience.
Experience can come from what you do today and what you have done previously, you just need to take enough steps to demonstrate what you already know and what you are presently learning along your journey. I know so many people in my life who are experts simply by virtue of the life they have lived, yet they are so insecure about what they know, they never commit their knowledge to words for fear of…well fear.
Blogs, and the Web in general, are amazing resources when you leverage them as a communication tool to spread your expertise because of the sheer scope of people they can reach. If all you ever do is talk to people in person and share your experience using limited communication mediums, you haven’t much hope of becoming an expert. Take what you know and show other people through blogging, and you might be surprised how people change their perception of you in time.
Reporting Is A Stepping Stone
If your previous experience and expertise is from an area you want to leave behind or you are starting from “scratch”, then reporting is the path you must walk, at least for the short term.
Reporting is a lot of fun. Interviewing experts, talking about what other people are doing and just being part of a community is not a bad way to blog. In many cases people make a career of reporting (journalism is about just that), but if you truly want success and exponential results, at some point you will have to stand up and proclaim yourself as someone unusually good at something and then proceed to demonstrate it over and over again.
Have patience and focus on what you do to learn and then translate that experience into lessons for others, and remember, it’s okay to be a big fish in a small pond, that’s all most experts really are.

Blogging Could Be Just The Thing You Need To Explode Your Business
It wasn’t too long ago that a blog was only the work of a college or university student to complain about life, parents and how the whole world is against them. The blogging world is no longer like this, and there are many companies using the power of a blog to enhance their business, gain more customers and connect with their current customer base to keep them updated on the day to day changes and issues within their respective industries. So how and why can you benefit from having a blog in your business? Allow me to show you in these 3 reasons:
1. Trust is built through open sharing In the online world there is a trust issue, mainly because there is no face to face contact with the consumer so they don’t get a chance to evaluate your character. Sharing your personality, thoughts and feelings in your business blog allows the potential client to get to know you a little bit more and over time trust is built as they begin to see your sharing of information and also they will see your dedication.
2. Search engines love blogs Due to their constant fresh content and updating daily, you will find your blog achieving some really good search engine rankings and not just like that of a normal website. You will start ranking for a wide variety of keywords and search terms, which opens up the door to new customers that you may never have found without the search engine capability of a blog.
3. You can use a blog for leverage You can leverage the power of a blog as a membership section, or delay posts to come out for one time offers or special sales. Using your blog for each of these purposes lets your customers think that being subscribed to the blog is important and you can offer special deals to those customers who stay connected via the blog. A perfect way to leverage the power of a blog is current market research, there is no better way to research your target market than asking your current customers what they want. These are just three reasons why blogging is a must for any business, I am sure there are many more that I have not included.
But many people that blogging is all about having a single authority blog where you focus all your work, when in reality you can have as many blogs as you like and publish your content on your own properties and not just populate the article directories..
I am in no way suggesting that you shouldn’t do any article marketing at all.. but remember.. your work is your work, so it is much better to put the majority of it on your own site(s).
