Free Methods: Hubpages.. Xtreme Popularity

I want to show a little love today to a site that has served me very well in my affiliate actions, only recently but has been very good to me…… and that site is Hubpages.com…. the site is very much like Squidoo, only easier to design and construct, smoother..less distraction for your visitors etc.

Now, it may not be as powerful as squidoo in the SERP’s, but what it does have is it’s own place for uses in affiliate marketing….and although they don’t take kindly to blatant promotion, which is a good thing anyhow, and you are limited to 2 identical links per hub, which is good also for your own benefit. Even though there are these minor restrictions which some people may see as a bad ting…in my opinion, HubPages has to be right near the top of my free marketing platforms…

Although I do venture more SEO focused activities…as I have been at it for years…I still utilise the platforms for exposure in smaller niche’s, because quite frankly…they are priceless… whether you’re in MLM and want to target product users..or in sub-niche’s and just need backlinks for referral traffic… it really does pay to use these options. Mainly due to the fact that they are so popular..

This is not something you can do from your own site right away, becasue of the popularity of these social type sites… they get ever increasing love from Google and the other engines….then engines love to give people what they want, therefore, they follow people.. and people use HubPages… simple. eh?

Maybe… but not too simple, there are still tricks and tips to using them that can make them really go full speed in your favour, because just using them will not guaratee you success from them. As much as it is a great platform to use, there are literally thousands of HUBS that go un-noticed, personal hubs that are just known by little networks of friends for personal use…no problem with that, but what this does is make you need to think on your toes a little in order to get the full benefit of it.

Using HubPages for traffic is huuuuge right now, people search within hubpages for information, so not only can you achieve a nice search engine ranking with a well optimised HUB, but you can piggyback off of the direct hubpages traffic due to it’s existance as a social community on it’s own…

You will be able to track your visitors within hubpages, see where and why they came etc…what you can then do is test and tweak until you see the desired results from this under appreciated tool on offer..
