When it comes to blog advertising, it’s good to have plenty of options, you never know what demographic is going to enjoy better and be more comfortable with, so experimenting with a few different ones in a subtle fashion can do wonders for your conversions which then increases your income, so the following three are what I personally look for on my smaller niche blogs, they all have good ad display tool sand are well received by niche’s in the general marketplace which makes them very reader friendly.
First Choice: Use AdSense
Adsense has been around since I can remember and I will always try adsense first, because of the longevity of this program from Google, you have a wider choice of advertisers than wth any of the others.. so I always test the profitability od Adsense before anything else.. if it’s good to go and well received by the readership then I will stick with it. I have a niche chunk of change coming form adsense already from other site’s so it’s easy to integrate it into my income nicely… but if it doesn’t go down too well then I will always try some others including:
Second Choice: Use AdBrite
AdBrite is a cpm (also known as impressions per thousand) advertising company. They use banner advertising that allows you to use html code to add banner ads to your blog. The payment rate is about 15c per CPM, which is good considering the banner ad is 468×60 pixels in size. And visitors to your blog don’t even have to click on the ad for you to get paid, they just have to see it.
Third Choice: Bux3
A new company out on the market, but VERY impressive, a good stable of advertisers and also is well received so far in my tests of using their option for adverts.. Payment rates are 500 clicks will pay you $5.00. 1000 impressions will pay you $1.00.
You se the key is ensuring that you can integrate ads into your blog whilst still having a blog that is good to read, blogs are all about the content and no matter how much you need/want to earn you should never jeopardise that for a few ads.
