Ask Jamie: He’s Clueless Though ;-)

I’ll jump right in here with the question and my response, it is something that really gets my back up and annoys me hugely… so here goes:

Hi jamie, hoa ya?

I was looking today at a site that promised over 100,000 genuine visitors for $20..I was thinking of going for it as I feel it could really prove fruitful and could help get me into first gear for making some sales?… which company would you suggest?… here is the one I looked at www.xxxxxx.com - are they any good?…

First off, I would like to tell you xxxxxx (edited for privacy), that I never endorse any sort of mass “traffic” purchase like this…

They are more than likely automated “bot” visits/hits to your site which give you the impression of visitors.. I always ask people when they brag of buying these thousands of visitors to their site, how many sales came as a result of these “hits”?… the answer is usually the same: ZERO

Doesn’t sound such an impressive achievement now does it?… If those visitors would have been via real paid traffic methods, like PPC with Google Adwords.. you would have sen some much better conversion statistics.. why?..

Targeted Traffic

I can’t stress enough the need to be targeted in your marketing online, it’s a MUST do for affiliate’s and pretty much anyone looking to make money online. Forget the shortcut attempts, forget trying to buy your way through the maze, just follow some simple, fundamental tactics and strategy that has been proven successful thousands of times before and will continue to do so for us all… like what I try to outline here at AX Blog.
