I think it is so commonplace right now amongst the make money online market to see promises of $1,000’s a day and millions a year, that most of the time.. the regular grind gets overlooked.
I have to admit, that I love earning big cash.. BUT… not only was it not always like it, but if I had not had my family to fall back on.. I would have been in a very desperate situation, today’s post isn’t about me though.. it’s about you and how you can move towards that financial goal for your monthly activities.
Now I know you may not want to worry about the specifics, but that is the most important thing about taking action, and the biggest mistake you can make is not planning things thoroughly, of course you need a balance of planning and action. But without a proper plan in place… your actions are limited and may not even create success.
Let’s use an example.. if you need $2,000 a month right now in profit from your affiliate marketing efforts… that seems like a huuuuuuge task, right?…
But what if I were to tell you that if you break that down it is only $80 a day!!..
Much more easy to reach, right?… now I didn’t need to tell you that.. you can do the math, but just scaling down your plan to the small steps allows you to see it in a much more pallatable situation for you and as a result, it seems easier to grasp a hold of.
$80 a day is just two sales of a $40 commission product.. most CB products hit this mark with 75% commish.. sweet, eh?.
Now I don’t say this to trivialise your efforts if yo aren’t getting there, I do it because it’s what I do. If I have a task to do, a mammoth task… I will intentionally split it into 90 seperate daily segments and assign different portions of the task to each day. It usually takes me an hour or so to do this, but come the end of that hour I have much easier mini-tasks that each have a place in helping me work to my end goal.
I always stress to you about planning here on the affiliate xtreme blog, and I really do mean it… get your plans in order, you will feel the benefit in the long run.

At first I was thinking making $80/day for some people doesn’t sound like such an easy task, so I liked when you said it’s only 2 sales of a $40 product per day, which made the goal seem even more attainable to the “average joe” getting involved with Internet Marketing.
I fully agree with you that planning is a huge part of online business, because its so easy to get complacent when you are your own boss, when you don’t have any strict deadlines except the one’s you create for yourself, when you have complete freedom with what you do with your time—this is why self-discipline, and personal development are two major factors that people tend to overlook when it comes to running an online business.
